A Collection of My Favorite Quotes and Phrases

I’ve been told that I’m an incurable optimist.  It is true that I have tried to look at life as if “the glass is half full” vs. half empty.  It’s something I’ve had to work at throughout my life.  I was told at an early age by my pastor, “Learn to associate with positive thinkers and disassociate with negative thinkers.”   Over the years I discovered that one of my spiritual gifts was encouragement.  I found joy in lifting the spirits of others.  That led me to venturing into motivational speaking and preaching.  My personal mission statement (found on the home page) has guided me most of my adult life.  I enjoy inspiring people and giving them hope.  Below are some of my favorite quotes & phrases.  Check back from time to time for an update as I continue to add to my list.
