Episode # 42 Robin Pfalzgraf (Commercial Free)

The Robin Pfalzgraf story

If there was anyone whose life theme could be “BEEN THERE. DONE THAT” it would be Robin’s life. It has been a roller coaster ride to say the least. There was a point when she asked God, “Why do you hate me.”

She grew up in a very dysfunctional family. She was sexually and physically abused by a family friend at a young age for multiple years. She married at a young age. She’s been married three times. She fostered 34 children by the age of 29. Her brother died at age 31 in an accident. Two years later her 19 year old son committed suicide. She turned from God. She questioned her faith – stopped listening to Christian Radio. She asked, “Why did God create me to hate me”? She said, “I am the churches worst nightmare.” But she has come to a point in her life where she’s learned the power of forgiveness and personal surrender where she finally found peace.

She says, “I learned that it was I who failed God”. “He never abandoned me”. She has a testimony to God’s faithfulness.

Two of Robin’s favorite quotes are:

“Sometimes The Strongest Among Us Are the Ones who Smile through Silent Pain, Cry Behind Closed Doors, And Fight Battles Nobody Knows About” – lessonlearnedinlife.com

“The attacks on your life have more to do with who you might be in the future than who you have been in the past” – Lisa Bevere
